About From the Nest
At Silvernest, we’re passionate about living life fully. Full of friendship and conversation. Ideas and activity. And most importantly, with people. Good ones. So, we’ve created the Silvernest blog, From the Nest, as a gathering place to exchange information, and highlight new ways of thinking about aging, homeownership, house sharing and what it means to be a “roommate.”
Our goal is to share a variety of perspectives and respect all points of view. We’re eager to start a dialogue and want to hear from you. So stop by often, share your comments, and join us in making From the Nest a community where home sharing and living in place just makes good sense.
Wendi Burkhardt, CEO & co-founder, Silvernest
Wendi is excited to share her insights as CEO and co-founder of Silvernest. Her goal is to spark conversation about the power of technology to change the face of aging in America. She recognizes that fear of isolation and fear of running out of money are two of the greatest concerns for our aging population. Wendi firmly believes that none of us should live in fear and that our opportunities are significant to create a more positive aging experience for all.
